Employers will seek, above all, analysts who can ask the right questions of the data. Whilst technical skills remain important, the job market will reward the candidate who can demonstrate ‘real world’ data skills. In addressing this increasingly critical industry need by meeting the Data Science skills gap, we must to do more than simply churn out students with high-level technical programming and statistical skills.
So how can Scotland produce these ‘real world’ data scientists who will spearhead the data-driven economic boost we need? Part of the answer is through apprenticeships.

This event will inform you about the Data Analytics Modern Apprenticeship launched this summer and we will discuss how education providers and organisations can take advantage of this opportunity.
